The 6th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee held not long ago summarized the major achievements and historical experience of the CPC over the past century. Wang Wentao pointed out that, in recent years, bilateral trade between China and Denmark has grown steadily, two-way investment has made progress, and service trade has achieved notable results. China and Denmark should steer the course of cooperation, jointly safeguard overall cooperation, jointly keep the market open, jointly support multilateralism, give full play to complementary advantages in traditional areas such as shipping, logistics, biomedicine and agricultural and food products, expand mutually beneficial cooperation in emerging areas such as green and low carbon development, renewable energy and electric vehicles, and continuously inject a fresh impetus into bilateral relations and economic cooperation and trade.
Jeppe Kofod said that economic cooperation and trade are important parts of Denmark-China comprehensive strategic partnership. China's 14th Five-Year Plan has created important opportunities for the development of bilateral economic and trade relations. Danish enterprises attach great importance to the Chinese market, actively participate in CIIE and achieve notable results. Denmark stands ready to strengthen policy exchanges with China, promote cooperation with China in various areas, and welcome Chinese business investment in Denmark.
