Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce and other six departments jointly issued the 2024 work plan for the "Thousand Sails Going Out to Sea" action plan for foreign cultural trade, and a total of 79 key activities (projects) were included in the list. Among them, the "Belt and Road" Central Plains Culture Europe Tour of the National Cultural Export Base (Kaifeng Section of Henan Pilot Free Trade Zone) is on the list.

It is understood that the "Thousand Sails Going Out to Sea" action plan was jointly initiated by the Ministry of Commerce, the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the China Foreign Language Bureau, and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The "Belt and Road" Central Plains Culture Europe Tour of the Kaifeng National Cultural Export Base, which was selected this time, is guided by the Office of the Foreign Affairs Work Committee of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and hosted by the Kaifeng Area Management Committee of the China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Kaifeng National Cultural Export Base. It will kick off in October this year.

According to relevant persons in charge of the Kaifeng area, the event will promote Kaifeng's local cultural products and services through exhibitions, matchmaking and negotiations, provide support for cultural trade companies to expand into the international market, and encourage relevant cultural platform companies to actively participate in organizing various activities to jointly expand new channels for cultural companies to go overseas.

It is reported that the event will showcase China's high-quality cultural products, cultural and creative artworks, Henan specialty products with Central Plains elements, etc. in a rich artistic form, opening up a new model of opening up the cultural industry of the National Cultural Export Base, weaving the beauty of integration of civilizations, and making culture a link to bring closer the cooperation and exchanges between countries and regions building the "Belt and Road", injecting deep and lasting cultural power into jointly promoting the prosperity and development of Kaifeng culture and the exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations.
