According to information from the news briefing conference of the PECC, its fifth session of Trade and Investment Expo, 2007 Sino-International Logistics and Warehousing Real Estate Trade Fair will be  held during November 8 and 11, 2007 in the International Convention and Exhibition Center, Binhai, Tianjin with the  theme of “Modern International Port and Logistics”. The exhibition area of the current expo will be nearly 20,000 square meters including 6 exhibition areas and 860 booths, mainly displaying the achievements of Tianjin urban district, Binhai New Area, TEDA, the Bonded Area, Hi-Tech Industry Park, Airport Logistics Processing Area, Tianjin Port, Dongjiang Free Trade Port and various urban districts of Tianjin and some famous logistics enterprises, etc., for logistics and infrastructure construction and their prospective for development. Specifically, the major items on display include: Introduction to international and domestic ports, logistics in seaport cities and the well-known logistics enterprises in Bohai rim region for various sectors like logistics and real estate, Logistics Park, logistics investment organizations, logistics storage and warehousing management bodies and some other various logistics service companies and agencies. Besides, some other items on display are modern seaport and airport technology, equipment and services, logistics storage and transportation equipment, technology and services and relevant introductions to economic communities of PECC members. The participating units include 7 PECC member economic communities and over 20 famous international port and logistics enterprises from 7 countries of the EU. The number of booths of overseas logistics organizations, enterprises and foreign funded enterprises in China will exceed 50%.

Some economic and trade activities like “Asia Logistics Forum”, “International Trade Fair for Investment project”, and “Asia International Trade Investment and Logistics and Real Estate Investment Forum” will be held during the Expo in order to provide a platform to the participants for their negotiations on projects for cooperation, offering them a opportunity for seeking business partners. It is believed that the participants will have a better understanding of Tianjin and the economic development of Bohai rim region, further strengthening economic and trade cooperation and contacts with Tianjin .
