China Business News Network  In order to strengthen industrial design exchanges and cooperation and promote high-quality development of the industry, Chongqing, as the fifth city in China and the first city in the west to be awarded the title of "Design City" by the Creative Cities Network of UNESCO, will hold an industrial design new product launch and promotion event at this year's Sixth Western China Fair. A batch of Chongqing's new industrial design products and outstanding development achievements will be unveiled.

Chongqing's product design is accelerating innovation. By then, Changan Automobile will release the Changan Deep Blue G318 to the world, Fengmi (Chongqing) Innovation Technology will release the Xiaoming V1 Ultra smart projector, and Chongqing Duce Technology will release Kuji high-end electric two-wheeled travel tools. Qiteng Robot will release an explosion-proof four-legged robot, and Dianjiang County will release Dianjiang Good Design to empower the regional agricultural product processing industry.

A relevant person in charge of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology said, "These innovative achievements have integrated various excellent resources such as technology, users, and business through design methods, effectively improved the added value of products, created brand effects, and driven Chongqing's manufacturing industry to move further and further on the road of innovative development, providing experience for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in the west and even the whole country."

It is understood that Singapore and Chongqing are both "design cities" of the Creative City Network. Relying on the China-Singapore interconnection project, relevant design industry organizations and design institutions in Chongqing and Singapore will jointly launch the "China-Singapore Design Co-Creation Plan" this time. By integrating global design resources, we will build an international design exchange platform and bring together outstanding designs from China and Singapore. With the strength of designers and design companies, we will continue to strengthen design cooperation in education, industry, business and other aspects, and jointly create an international design brand with global influence.

The launch site will also host a signing ceremony for the China-Singapore Design Co-Creation Project and an unveiling ceremony for the China-Singapore Design Co-Creation Base. The signed projects include six international design co-creation projects, including the "AI Design Platform" of Yu Hai Industrial Design Research Institute, the "E-sports Mouse" of Ava Technology, and the "Outdoor Power Products" of Bi Yang Company.

At the same time, Chongqing and New Zealand will also establish a Sino-Singapore design co-creation base to provide designers with office, communication, and exhibition venues and to settle down and start businesses, to help build Chongqing into a "design capital". Chongqing will also strengthen design exchanges with cities in the east and west of China, and give full play to its important strategic role as a fulcrum for the development of the western region in the new era. Chongqing will also jointly launch the "New Era Western Development Design Empowerment Action Initiative" with western provinces and cities such as Sichuan and Shaanxi, as well as eastern provinces and cities such as Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Guangdong, to accelerate the construction of a new pattern of design empowerment industry development and help the prosperity and development of the domestic design industry.
