The 8th China-South Asia Expo and the 28th China Kunming Import and Export Fair, co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Yunnan Province, will be held in Kunming from July 23 to 28, 2024.

Yunnan takes "Unity and Cooperation for Common Development" as the theme of the 8th South China Expo, and strives to make the South China Expo "better and better" in accordance with the principles of "thrift, efficiency and pragmatism".

Two "firsts" will be achieved

The 8th South China Expo will achieve two "firsts". The exhibition will highlight its professional attributes, serve economic and trade transactions, divide professional pavilions and exhibition areas by product categories for the first time, set up a comprehensive foreign trade service area for the first time, build a worry-free trade platform, continue to deepen and expand the "comprehensive exhibition, professional management" model, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the exhibition and its marketization and professionalization level.

Will reach two "15"

This year's South China Expo will also achieve two "15s". It will be held simultaneously online and offline, with 15 exhibition halls set up offline and an exhibition area of 150,000 square meters; online, a cloud South China Expo platform will be built to hold cloud exhibitions, cloud live broadcasts, and cloud negotiations.

The 8th Yunnan Expo will further play the role of a platform for goods trade, investment promotion, tourism cooperation and cultural exchange, and promote the high-quality development of the joint construction of the "Belt and Road".
