On the 12th, reporters learned from the countdown press conference for the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services that the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services will be held in Beijing from September 12th to 16th.

The theme of the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services is "Global Services, Mutual Benefit and Sharing". It will be held in a combination of online and offline methods, striving to create an important platform for expanding opening up, deepening cooperation, and leading innovation.

This year's CIFTIS will continue to hold comprehensive exhibitions and special exhibitions. The comprehensive exhibition will be held at the National Convention Center, and will include achievement exhibitions, country exhibitions, provincial and municipal exhibitions, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan exhibitions, and theme areas. Special exhibitions will be held at the Shougang Park, including telecommunications, computer and information services, financial services, cultural and tourism services, education services, sports services and other special topics. During the exhibition, this CIFTIS will also hold a global service trade summit, exhibitions, negotiations and promotions, results releases, and supporting activities.

This year's CIFTIS will highlight new productivity and create a "new and specialized" exhibition. The theme areas and special exhibitions will highlight new productivity and new models and formats of integrated development with modern service industry, high-end manufacturing industry and modern agriculture.

At present, 93% of the exhibition area for comprehensive exhibitions and special exhibitions has been completed. 72 countries and international organizations have decided to set up offline exhibitions in the name of national governments or headquarters, of which 12 countries and international organizations will set up independent offline exhibitions for the first time. At this year's Services Trade Fair, the guest country France will set up a national pavilion around the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and hold a series of activities around themes such as fashion industry, sports, medical care, and investment to promote the deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
