"This year, overseas orders for fresh pears have increased significantly compared to previous years, and customers mainly come from Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand and Indonesia." Summer is the peak season for fresh pears to be put on the market and exported, but the temperature is high and fresh fruit is easily perishable, so the timeliness of delivery is very high. "It has always been a problem for us to keep fresh fruit in summer," said Wu Shuqiang. Now, the customs inspection "green channel" has solved this problem for enterprises. The "green channel" for customs inspection mentioned by Wu Shuqiang is called "Green Channel for Local Inspection of Imported and Exported Fresh and Perishable Agricultural and Food Products". That is, the customs will give priority inspection and "5+2" appointment inspection to outbound live animals, aquatic products, chilled meat products, inbound and outbound vegetables, fruits and other fresh and perishable agricultural and food products, and implement a facilitation measure of "priority order acceptance, priority inspection, priority testing, and priority certification" on site.

"We have calculated that the 'green channel' has saved more than 500,000 yuan in customs clearance and transportation costs, as well as reduced costs such as lost orders due to order cancellations. At present, Tianjin Customs has opened "green channel" special lines in 18 customs areas. From January to July, Tianjin Customs released 1,057.96 tons of goods with a value of 18.2645 million yuan through the local inspection "green channel". The shortest inspection time was reduced to 2 hours, and the average inspection time was reduced by 92%. The main commodities involved were apples, fresh pears, yellow catfish, etc.

Tomato sauce has always been one of Tianjin's specialty agricultural products for export. According to statistics, Tianjin's agricultural product exports in the first seven months totaled 6.17 billion yuan, up 13.3% year-on-year. Among them, tomato sauce exports totaled 1.85 billion yuan, up 18.4% year-on-year.

Expanding more African markets is one of the key tasks of Zhang Jing, customs manager of Tianjin Weisheng Food Co., Ltd. this year. "We have increased our efforts to explore overseas markets by enriching the variety of tomato sauce products. This year, we have added several new export countries such as Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana, and sales have also increased by 34.6% compared with the same period last year," said Zhang Jing.
