Among them, Chinese companies' non-financial direct investment in countries participating in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative was US$17.94 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%.

From January to July 2024, the turnover of overseas contracted projects reached US$86.28 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%; the value of newly signed contracts reached US$133.95 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25%. Among them, the turnover of contracted projects of Chinese enterprises in countries participating in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative reached US$69.88 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%; the value of newly signed contracts reached US$110.11 billion, a year-on-year increase of 22.3%.
